Sunset Cocktails at the Macallen Pool Plaza

Thursday, June 19th, 2008 6pm ~ 9pm

Tickets are $20 per person and available at Sophia's Cage, or from any board member.  This event is sponsored by the West Broadway Neighborhood Association, with proceeds to be used to restore the fardens of the James Kelly Bridge, and to plant trees along the train yard on Foundry Street.  Plantings will be supervised by an arborist, who will teach volunteers how to establish and maintain plantings deemed appropriate for their surroundings.  Plantings and labor will be provided by neighborhood volunteers.  Come, meet your neighbors and learn more about the West Broadway Neighborhood Association!

South Boston Boys & Girls Club Annual Harbor Cruise

Tuesday, July 22nd at 6pm!

Join your friends and neighbors for a sunset sail on Boston Harbor on the Provincetown II,  for an evening of fun, good music, dancing, raffles and great prizes! There will be lots of familiar faces, beautiful views and cool breezes! Music will be provided by DJ Jimmy LeBlanc, the Alessi Trio and the Bowen Street Band! 

Transportation to and from the pier begins at 4:30pm at the Connection!

Tickets are available for $25 per person, or groups of 10 for $20 each, or $30 at the gate.  Boarding of the Provincetown II begins at 6:30pm and returns to the dock at 10:00pm.   Tickets are available at the Club ~ see Pattie McCormick or call 617-268-4301, or see "Butter" at the Connection!

     Regulary scheduled meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month from September through June.  See you in September!  Have a safe and enjoyable summer!
